Nova (NASDAQ: NVMI), an innovator and key provider of metrology solutions for advanced process control used in semiconductor manufacturing, announced today the appointment of Eitan Oppenhaim, who has served as Nova’s President & Chief Executive Officer since 2013, to the company’s Board of Directors.

It is very strange that he has been the president and CEO of the company and was excluded from the BOD, doesn’t make any sense.
Did the board have no confidence in him to include him on the BOD?
