New York based BJG Electronics Group announced today that Kent Smith has joined the company as President, effective February 3, 2020.
Most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer for Integrated Supply Network, Smith brings to BJG a track record of successful leadership positions at electronics industry leaders. At Nu Horizons Electronics Corp., he served as President of the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Later, as Vice President of Sales at Arrow Electronics, he led a team that generated more than $4 billion in annual sales.

Naming Smith as President marks yet another significant milestone in a successful year for BJG Electronics Group. The company has completed three acquisitions in the past twelve months, including Connector Tech LLC, Whitmor/Wirenetics and Intro Corporation.
“I am delighted to be joining BJG Electronics and returning to the electronics industry, where I built my career over many years,” Smith commented. “I feel particularly fortunate to be joining the company on the heels of a series of strategic acquisitions that have strengthened its product and service offerings over the past year.”
