Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC; Head office: Chiyoda ku, Tokyo; President: Masayuki Waga ) will invest over 10 million Euro for an expansion of its precision cleaning facility in Dresden, Germany. This expansion of subsidiary Cleanpart Dresden GmbH (Cleanpart Dresden; Location: Dresden , Germany; President: Ryuhei Sato will support the rapidly growing production of semiconductor wafers by its customers in the Saxony region and surrounding areas.
The expansion, with completion scheduled for late 2022, will include construction of a new building on the existing Cleanpart Dresden site to house an expanded cleanroom. The space will be equipped with modern semi automated chemical clean lines, chemical free pre cleaning equipment for process waste reduction, and other innovative new tools for precision cleaning semiconductor equipment chamber parts.
