Pivotal Systems Corporation has officially announced the opening of a new high volume manufacturing facility in Malaysia. This strategic expansion marks a key milestone in the company’s global expansion, reinforcing its commitment to delivering advanced gas flow solutions for the semiconductor and other high-tech industries.
The grand opening of this facility will be held on November 7, 2024, with key industry leaders and government officials from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in attendance, including Yang Amat Berhormat, Dato Seri/Dato, Tan Sri, Tengku. During the ceremony, special guests will hear keynotes from company executives, tour the state-of-the-art facility, and explore the company’s latest advancements in precision gas flow control solutions.

For over a decade, Pivotal Systems’ advanced gas flow control technology has become critical in advancing semiconductor manufacturing solutions. The Malaysia facility enhances supply chain capabilities and positions the company to meet the dynamic needs of customers with greater speed, agility, and scale.

The expansion follows Pivotal Systems’ acquisition by OmegaX Inc. in November 2023, which has driven significant growth and accelerated the company’s strategic initiatives. Pivotal Systems has invested aggressively in R&D and introduced several groundbreaking products, including the GFC for High Flow, GFC-Thermal, Pressure Controller, and Flow Ratio Controller, which provide unprecedented precision and efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing. Last month, Pivotal opened an engineering and manufacturing site in Korea and plans to open a new advanced R&D, pilot, and support center in Silicon Valley in early 2025. This site in Malaysia is anticipated to accelerate innovation in gas-flow technologies and solidify essential relationships across the semiconductor and adjacent industries.
