TECHCET — the electronic materials advisory firm providing business and technology information on semiconductor supply chains — announced it has been awarded a contract from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/ CHIPS Program Office (CPO) for materials supply chain data and analysis. TECHCET will be assisting the CPO to identify domestic supply chain gaps related to critical materials required in the manufacture of semiconductors (gases, chemical/liquid precursors, metals and substrates). The CHIPS Program Office will use this information from TECHCET in its analysis and review of grant/loan applicants to validate assumptions and viability of the proposed projects.
TECHCET’s expertise was recognized for their important work on Critical Materials Supply Chains including ALD/CVD precursors, electronic gases, equipment components, lithography materials, metal chemicals, silicon carbide, silicon wafers, sputter targets, wet chemicals and more. TECHCET is excited to be working with NIST and the CPO to provide needed data and information on the critical semiconductor materials supply chains.
