Silicon Catalyst, the only incubator + accelerator focused on the global semiconductor industry, including Chips, Chiplets, Materials, IP and Silicon fabrication-based Photonics, MEMS, Sensors, Life Science and Quantum, announced today that SMD Semiconductor has become the newest and 14th Strategic Partner to join the incubator’s continuously expanding ecosystem. The partnership extends Silicon Catalyst’s global reach into the Asia Pacific market.
Sean Redmond, Managing Partner, Silicon Catalyst, was responsible for driving this new relationship. In addition to managing ChipStart UK from London, Sean has also been responsible for ChipStart EU based in Malta which was launched in November of last year.

The live demonstration of Ultra Edge Power Converter prototype was an answer to the current AI revolution, where artificial intelligence is transforming industries worldwide.
